At the clinic in Nerja Martin enjoys offering all manner of general dentistry for his patients in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Check-ups, cleans, fillings, root treatments, crowns. All dental treatment is provided to the highest standard and with the utmost care to make the experience as gentle and painless as possible. Martin and the rest of the team are english speaking so you can feel relaxed about your needs being understood and having options explained in a clear manner.
Invisible braces and orthodontics
There's no need to put up with crooked teeth. Give yourself the smile you always wanted. Using the Alineadent system Martin can straighten your teeth with a series of clear aligners, avoiding much of the discomfort and cosmetic issues of traditional braces.
Veneers & other cosmetic dentistry
Martin is happy to offer all manner of cosmetic treatment from the dental clinic in Nerja to give you the best smile you can have. Unslightly metal fillings and crowns can be replaced for natural-looking alternatives, porcelain veneers can improve the colour and shape of your teeth. Martin is also experienced in using minimally invasive techqniues to achieve many cosemic improvements in a simpler manner that is kinder to your teeth.
Dental Implants
If you have lost a tooth or have a tooth that is not possible to repair dental implants can be a great solution. Dental implants are usually the best option for replacing your missing tooth and the closest thing to having your old tooth back. A titanium screw replaces the root of the tooth and a crown or bridge can be placed on top. Martin uses Straumann implants and expert technicians so that you can be reassured of the quality of the dental implants.
Root canal treatment
Martin has a Masters degree from the University of London in root canal treatment and, before working as an English speaking dentist in Nerja, spent 8 years treating endodontic referrals in Harley Street and private practice in Essex. Using the latest techniques and materials root canal treatment can be painless and have extremely high success rates, even if previous treatment with other dentists has been unsuccessful.
Tooth whitening
Tooth whitening is a safe, predicatble and affordable way to improve your smile. Without any need to damage the teeth whitening gels can greatly improve the colour of your teeth and give you confidence in your smile.

Martin is an English speaking dentist working in Nerja. He prides himself on offering treatment of the highest standard in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. He believes that going to the dentist shouldn't be an unpleasant or confusing experience. He takes great pleasure in providing gentle dental care and ensuring patients have everything explained in language they can understand.

Martin graduated from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Dental School and won several awards for academic excellence during his studies. He was presented with the Principal's award and nominated for the University of London medal for graduating with the highest grades in his year group. After three years of continued post-graduate training in NHS practice and hospitals Martin decided to continue his career in general dental practice. He undertook his masters degree in endodontics (root canal treatment) at the Royal London Hospital and graduated with distinction in 2014. This expertise in endodontics led him to focus his clinical practice in the field, while continuing to maintain a list of general dentistry patients in a private practice. Recognition of his skill in this field lead to positions as a Speciality Dentist in Endodontics at the Royal London Hospital and posts in Harley Street and private referral practice in Essex. Alongside his clinical practice Martin taught post-graduate courses in endodontics.

In 2017 Martin and his family took the step of relocating to the Costa del Sol where he has continued his post-graduate training and developed further skills in dental implants. He is currently completing a part-time masters in oral surgery and implantology. He and his family are enjoying their new life in Málaga and Martin is delighted to continue to offer his services to patients in Nerja and the surrounding area. Outside of work Martin enjoys spending time with his two young children and is a keen cyclist.
